End-to-End Encrypted Transfer and Storage

If you are looking for an alternative to the high cost and operational complexity of PGP encryption, then consider a MOVEit ® DMZ server by Standard Networks. It delivers end-to-end encrypted file transfer and storage, without PGP and without managing encryption keys, using any of these widely deployed public key clients.

  • Web Browsers (HTTPS) including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Mozilla, Netscape, Opera and Safari (no Java, ActiveX, plugins or third-party encryption required). Browsers are free, pre-installed, and user (and firewall) friendly, which makes them well-suited for manual, on-demand transfers from desktops and laptops.
  • Secure FTP over SSL (FTPS) including a variety of MOVEit and third-party clients that do TLS-P (AUTH SSL), TLC-C (AUTH TLS) or IMPLICIT transfers. FTPS clients are often used for scheduled, automated file transfers, and are native to IBM z/OS mainframes and often found on Windows systems.
  • Secure FTP over SSH (SFTP) including MOVEit and a variety of third-party clients that do username and password or client key authentication. SFTP clients are firewall-friendly, often found on UNIX/Linux servers, and are typically used for scheduled, automated file transfers.
  • MOVEit API (HTTPS) including Java and Windows versions that provide programmatic access to MOVEit DMZ via firewall friendly HTTPS, and which can be driven by batch files and scripts written for command-line ftp clients.

All files exchanged through a MOVEit DMZ server are securely transmitted using 128-bit SSL encryption, securely stored using MOVEit's built-in US and Canadian government FIPS 140-2 validated 256-bit AES encryption, and automatically encrypted/decrypted without any user involvement. And MOVEit DMZ delivers all of the following too.

  • File Non-Repudiation
  • Guaranteed Delivery
  • File Arrival Email Notification
  • Multi-Lingual User Interface
  • High Availability

"My customers all love MOVEit DMZ and love me for letting them use it instead of our old way for transferring files. We all know what that means. Customers happy, management happy, engineer happy."
